Bill Morrison is known worldwide as a major artist and writer for several beloved animated properties, most notably The Simpsons, Futurama, The Beatles Yellow Submarine, and many of Disney’s most popular films and characters.
Bill began his career in Hollywood as an illustrator, painting dozens of movie posters, including many for Walt Disney Pictures. The classic film posters by Morrison include House, Blood Diner, The Little Mermaid, Bambi, Peter Pan, The Jungle Book, The Land Before Time, The Jetsons Movie, and many more.
When Matt Groening founded Bongo Entertainment, Bill was on board as co-creator/art director and drew the very first Simpsons comic. Bill also worked with Groening on early character designs for the Futurama TV series and served as the series Art Director. And he recently worked as a character designer and development artist on Groening’s Netflix series, Disenchantment.
Most recently, Morrison was Executive Editor of MAD Magazine and now has brought the entire creative team from MAD Magazine under the roof of the Idea Integration Co.
